Some search engines offer specialised news search facilities. If your site or news feed has some wider relevance you may be able to get included. Standards are tougher than for feed directories and blog listings. To get included in Google news send an email to:

RocketNews search over 10,000 Internet sites as well as content sources for current news and information. This is used on their News portal and XML feeds and is resold in a bespoke format to business customers. Newsfeeds can be submitted to RocketNews by sending an email to

newsites@rocketinfo.com

When asking to be included give the name of the news source, its URL and the URL for the RSS or Atom feed if available.

If your site is selected for inclusion this can take anything from 48 hours to a couple of weeks.
